Sebastian Michael Jalbert age 10 of North Andover, Ma passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on July 8th, 2019 after an eight-year battle with cancer (Wilms Tumor). He was born in Winchester, Ma. On March 26, 2009. Sebastian was beloved son of Jeffrey and Denise (Farrell) Jalbert. Sebastian received his education thru the North Andover public school system; he was also a member of the Special Olympics summer games. Sebastian enjoyed swimming, playing with his Disney cars and planes, and loved to paint.
Sebastian was diagnosed at the age of 18 months with non-verbal Autism. Even though he could not express himself verbally, he had a lot to say. He taught his family and everyone who knew him that he loved listening to music with his headphones and watch television and at the same time and understood what was going on with both items. He was smart beyond his years and didn’t allow his handicap to prevent him from enjoying his favorite things. But no matter what Sebastian was doing, he could count on his mom and dad to have his favorite snack readily available. Dorito’s! He loved having his Dorito cheesy fingers so he could have every last crumb of the corners. Sebastian has the best method of eating his Dorito’s, he was very particular about snapping the corners off first and creating new corners to snap off and snack on. After his many Chemotherapy treatments, his diet changed; but the Dorito’s stayed a favorite along with NesQuick Chocolate Milk, MacDonald’s Chicken Nuggets, Bologna and Hot Dogs.
Besides his parents, Sebastian is survived by his Paternal Grandparents Ronald and Pamela Jalbert of Salem, Ma. Paternal Grandmother Linda Chambers of Beverly, Ma.
