Marjorie (Berenson) Pearl passed away on May 1, 2019. She was the beloved wife of the late Benjamin Pearl, devoted mother of Robert Pearl and his wife Patricia of Peabody and James Pearl of Bedford. She was the adoring grandmother of Jennifer Pearl of Peabody and was the sister of the late David Berenson of Worcester. Marjorie graduated from Boston’s Art Institute. Her love of art and the early Chinese trade led her to serve as a docent for many years at the Peabody Essex Museum in Salem, MA. She also expressed her creativity while working as an editor of two national magazines published in New England and Indiana. Marjorie enjoyed working on the staff of the Brooksby Villager and wrote many well-received poems for its quarterly publications.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the American Heart Association or Brooksby Village Resident Care Fund, 200 Brooksby Village Dr., Peabody, MA 01960

Dear Margie, You are with your dear “Benji” now, and we shall always hold the sweet memories we’ve shared here at BBV, the dinners, the dances, the fun visiting in our hearts. Now you both will be little angles on the shoulders of Bob, Patti, Jim, and Jeniffer. Rest In Peace, dear friend~
