Obituary:

Family and friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Monday March 25th 4:00-7:00 pm at Mackey’s Funeral Home at 128 S. Main Rt 114 Middleton, for Grace Chiary Bellino who passed away after an extended battle with Alzheimer’s disease. On Tuesday, March 26th, a 9:00 am mass will be held at St Mary’s in Danvers followed by her burial at Annunciation Cemetery, Hobart St., Danvers. After the funeral, friends and family are invited to gather for a reception at Danversport Yacht club at 161 Elliott Street, Danvers MA.

Grace was born, raised, and educated in Revere, graduating from Revere High School and lived in Revere until 1973, after which time she married S. William (Bill) Bellino and moved to Peabody and together, they ran Bill’s business, Modern Home Appliance in Gloucester. After retirement, she and Bill spent their time between Peabody and Naples, FL where they loved to play cards and bocce ball, listen to music, sit by the pool or beach, and dance. Sadly, Grace was overtaken with Alzheimers and moved to California to be closer to her children. At the time of her passing, she was surrounded by her children and family who sang to her, prayed, rubbed her head, brushed her hair, and told bad jokes. She was loved and not alone as it should be.

Grace is survived by her children Nancy (Upton) Downard, Roy Upton, and Robin Upton, six step-children, Mario (Mike) Bellino, Paul Bellino, Sandra (Bellino) Farraca, Mark Bellino, William Bellino Jr, and BethAnn (Bellino) Lynch, several nieces and nephews, grandchildren, and her great-grandchild Brian.

In lieu of flowers, friends are encouraged to make a donation in Grace’s memory to the Mid-County Senior Center, Attn: Treasurer, 829 Bay Avenue, Capitola, CA 95010 where Grace spent many hours in her last years participating in dance-exercise classes with other seasoned citizens.

My heart felt condolences and prayers for your family are headed your way on the passing of Grace.
What a wonderful beautiful friend to everyone. That was Grace. We all still miss her in Naples. 🙏
Our thoughts and prayers go out to Aunt Grace and her family. We remember her as a fun loving person with a great smile. I'm sure she will be missed by all who knew her. Unfortunately, we will not be able to make the service because we will be in Jamaica on vacation. Sincerely Kris and John Bellino
A donation was made to Annunciation Catholic Church Charities in Longwood FL in Gracies name. They support Alzheimer’s care in the area. In her passing may there be light for others. I am with you all with my thoughts and prayers.
