Mary Lou Enos, age 83, of Peabody, passed away on July 28, 2018. Mary Lou was the beloved wife of John F. Enos, with whom she shared 58 years of marriage. Born and raised in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Anthony J. and Louise (Beatrice) Palmieri. After graduating from East Boston High School, Mary Lou went on the receive her Bachelor's Degree from Salem State College and received Master's Degrees from Boston State College and Lesley College. Mary was an Elementary School Teacher in Peabody for over thirty years. She applied for and received many grants bringing special programs into elementary schools. Mary loved to travel - it was her passion. Family trips to Cape Cod and Maine were always a special time. Mary loved gardening. She was a member of the Peabody Garden Club for which she served as President. In the '70s, Mary was the voice of the Peabody Campfire Girls on WLMO in Danvers. Mary Lou will be greatly missed by her children; Lou Ann Towle of Newburyport; John Enos III of New York and Emily Enos of Beverly. She was also the proud grandmother of three granddaughters, Liz Towle of Beverly, Sarah Towle of Newburyport and Alexandra Enos of Beverly.

It was such an honor knowing Mary, she was a great wife, mother and grandmother, she loved her family. She surely will be missed. My sympathy goes out to you and your family. You now have an angel to watch over you.
