Thomas Robert King Jr. of Middleton MA passed away on May 14, 2018.† He was predeceased by his loving wife Barbara Jean King of which he loved so dearly. Thomas is survived by 2 children, Eric King and his wife Elaine; daughter Corinne King, a granddaughter Jennifer; 3 stepchildren Denise Delaney & husband Jack; Vinny Foden and wife Collen and their 2 children; Pamela Foden; his sister Jacqueline Mahoney, 2 nieces and 1 nephew. Thomas was a Distinguished Military Graduate from Northeastern, he held a BS & MS in Electrical Engineering. Thomas was a Retired Major, Aviation Battalion Commander where he was active in the military from 1959-1663 and continued on to the National Guard. He was an FAA Check Captain at TWA, had his FAA Air Transport License (Airplane and Helicopter) as well as a USCG Master. He was a Sea Captain at various charter companies. Thomas belonged to the Caterpillar Club. Thomas was a loving husband to his darling wife Barbara; a wonderful and loving father and grandfather. He enjoyed flying and boating. When he was unable to be in the air or at sea, he enjoyed sitting out on the deck with his martini and cheap cigarís. May he rest in peace with the love of his life for eternity. I know how much this man was loved by his daughter Corinne... she is my friend and watching her caring and loving devotion to him and to those she loves is truely an amazing attribute to be witness to Mr. king you will be missed forever... Dear Dad, I'll always remember the day I met you! Your were on your first date with Mom at the Danielle Fuller House in Middleton. Mom had asked if I would stop by and say "Hello" and to check you out!!! and of course I did! You were quite surprised! From then on a "Wonderful Life" you two shall have! We watched the two of you become one with your loving and caring ways, we were so happy you were "Happy"! The many adventures in your lives, flying to France, Germany, Ireland and Alaska. The "Fermata" boating trips from Melbourne, FLA to Danversport and Kennebunkport and beyond! The times of your lives! We welcomed you Dad (Tommy) to our family with open arms. You meant the world to us, you were special and that's no lie! The times we shared, early am & afternoon phone calls each and everyday! The invites to "Din-Din" or doing errands and yes, Let's plan boat trips!!! No words we write can ever say "How much you will be missed! You were an amazing and outstanding man who accomplished so much in your life! There will never be another man like you!
