Friday, Nov. 3, 6-8pm wake at Coe-Genung funeral home in Waterloo, NY. Service at 10am on Saturday Nov. 4, at the Funeral Home before going to the cemetery. (Maplegrove).

Allelia (Lee) Getz, 83, of Waterloo, NY passed away peacefully at Brightview Retirement Community in Danvers, MA on October 26, 2017, with family by her side. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert R. Getz, Sr. and daughter of the late Nettie and Harry Newman of Waterloo, NY. Lee was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She is survived by her son Robert R. Getz, Jr. and his wife Terri of Middleton, MA, her son Richard R. Getz and his wife Valerie of Fairport, NY, grandchildren Kelly Daggs and her husband Michael, Richard Getz, Jr., and Steven Getz of Fairport, NY, step-grandchildren Melanie Porter of Peabody and Allison Trovage of NY. She also leaves behind seven great-grandchildren. Lee was an active member of the First Baptist Church in Geneva, NY. She was a homemaker, Den Mother, Scoutmaster's wife and Owner/Operator of Getz Ceramics.


I am a volunteer from Care Dimensions. My most recent visit with Lee was yesterday.We sat and chatted about our families.We had a beautiful visit. My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family.... Debbie Wexler

Aunt Lee I am forever grateful for all our wonderful memories. You have always been a special part of our lives. I am especially grateful we were able to come visit with you just a couple weeks ago. God gained one of the most beautiful angels when he welcomed my Aunt Lee into heaven. You have always and will always hold such a special place in my heart!
