Emily A. (Sclafani) Tinkham, of Middleton, MA., loving wife of 33 years to W. Tracy Tinkham passed away peacefully on December 3, 2016 after a long courageous battle with cancer. She was the loving mother of Dylan and Zacary Tinkham.

Born in Somerville, MA. In 1959, she was the loving daughter of Edith (Marotta) Sclafani of Middleton and the late Charles Sclafani.

Emily was a graduate of both Masconomet High School and later earning her degree in Radiology from Northeastern University. She was a cheerleader at both schools. Emily went on to work for Continental Airlines as a flight attendant where she travelled the world and more recently in Winchester at the Breast Care Ctr. as an X-Ray Technician. “Femmy-Emmy” was the ultimate sports Mom. She enjoyed following all the games and events with passion. Emily was the unofficial advocate for the Middleton Welcome Wagon, always the first to welcome new residents. She enjoyed all outdoor sports and participating in all local events. She was the loving sister of Noreen Currier of Peabody and leaves several cousins, aunts, uncles and many special friends. All will miss her outgoing and generous personality.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to visitation on Friday evening from 4pm-8pm in the Mackey Funeral Home, 128 S. Main St., Rt. 114, Middleton. On Saturday, please gather at 10am at St. Adelaide Parish, 708 Lowell St., W. Peabody, MA. followed by Mass to be celebrated at 10:15am. Burial at Oakdale Cemetery, Middleton.
