Jean C. (MacNeil) Barrasso, 68, a longtime Danvers resident passed away peacefully on April 25, 2014 with family at her side. She was the wife of Pasquale A. Barrasso with whom she shared forty-six years of marriage. Born in Canada in 1946, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Mary Josephine (Dunphy) MacNeil. Mrs. Barrasso was employed for many years at both Hunt Memorial and Beverly Hospital as an OR/CSR Technician. Jean enjoyed time spent with family, gardening , pets, her trips to Nova Scotia and many other interest. She leaves her two sons, David and Rico Barrasso both of Danvers. She was the sister to Ann McNamara, John MacNeil and his wife Donna, Gerard MacNeil and his wife Wanda, Kevin MacNeil and his wife Patsy, Alva MacNeil, Gerry MacNeil, Wanda Burke and her husband Connie. Also leaving a sister in-law; Donna MacNeil and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers; James and Donald MacNeil, brother-in-law Val McNamara and sister-in-law Shirley MacNeil.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday at 2pm at St. Richard Parish, Forest St., Danvers MA. Please make memorial donations to the Polycystic Kidney Foundation at assisting the family is the Mackey Funeral Home, Danvers. See to leave a condolence.
