Donald A. "Tibby" Thibodeau, 76 , of Georgetown and formerly of Danvers passed away on January 18, 2011 following a very long illness. He was surrounded by his loved ones. He was the husband of the late Leah (Della Monica) Thibodeau with whom he shared fifty-three years of marriage. Born in Salem on January 25, 1934 he was the son of Alfred and Alice (Englehart) Thibodeau. Donald was educated in Salem and later was employed as a brick layer. He went on to own the Thibodeau Masonry Construction Co. for forty-five years. Mr. Thibodeau served his country during the Korean Conflict with the US Army as a Medic. He enjoyed time spent with family and will be deeply missed. He was the loving father to his daughter Dawn and her husband Butch Stewart of Georgetown. He was the devoted and loving grandfather that adored his two grandsons Derek and Todd Stewart. Arrangements: Upon Tibby's wishes, there will be no public funeral arrangements .Condolences can be made online at . For those that desire, donations can be made in Tibby's name to the Dr. Stefan Tullius' Kidney Surgery Research lab, c/o Brigham and Women's Hospital , 116 Huntington St., 5th Floor, Boston MA 02116.
