Dolores (Blute) Timson, 93, a lifelong Danvers resident passed away on September 11, 2012. She was the wife of the late Melvin E. Timson.

Born in Danvers in 1919, she was the daughter of Charles and Madeline (Sullivan) Blute. Prior to retirement, Dolores worked for DAKA Food Service, Howard Johnson’s, Lloyd’s and Ropes pharmacies.

She enjoyed bowling, playing bingo and spending time with family. She was a communicant of St. Mary's Parish in Danvers. Dolores was a kind and generous person and will be dearly missed by all.

She leaves her children; Carol Hess, Sylvia Ryan Belise, Marcia Winter and her husband Bradley, Teresa Berg all of Danvers, Alan Timson and his wife Deborah of Beverly and Norman Timson and his wife Kim of Danvers. Also leaving a brother; Arthur Raymond,a sister in-law; Priscilla Blute of Danvers, 12 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Leonard and Lloyd Blute.

Relatives and friends are kindly welcome to visitation on Friday in the Mackey Funeral Home, 22 Conant St., Danvers, from 4-7pm. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday at 9am in St. Mary of the Annunciation Church, Danvers. Burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Sylvan St., Danvers. Please see to leave a condolence.
