Lucille S. (Mosko) Murphy, 85, of Middleton passed away unexpectedly on Monday, July 2, 2018, at her home. Lucille was born in Amesbury, MA, and was the daughter of the late Mihran and Virginia (Prizzio) Mosko, and was the widow of Francis H. Murphy. Lucille is survived by her beloved children John F. Murphy and his wife Claudette, Virginia A. and her husband Richard Edwards, Diane M. and her husband Paul Vozzella, Janice L. and her husband Martin Monto, William H. Murphy, Michael P. Murphy and his wife Anne, and Francis A. Murphy and his wife Erika. Lucille also leaves her 23 cherished grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. Lucille also leaves her brother John Mosko and his wife Jan, and many nieces & nephews. Lucille was known as Nana to her loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren Relatives and friends are invited to Memorial Visiting Hours on Monday, July 9, 2018, from 4 to 7 pm at Mackey Funeral home, 128 S. Main St., Middleton, with a Celebration of Life Service to follow at the conclusion of the visiting hours at 7 pm. Burial will be private. In lieu of Flowers the family requests donations be made to "Cops for Kids With Cancer"

Lou and I were close friends when we both lived in Reading and our children were young. Sadly, we lost comtact over the years with time and distance, but I will never forget the good times we had together and how I loved and admired her.
