Marti and family- My heart is heavy, and I am thankful to have known him. His care of others filtered into everything he did. Jack was the essence of a true man of God. He initiated and ushered our bible study group into existence at Natick Labs. He taught us through Scripture what it means to be disciples of Christ and we all will miss his loving kindness and wisdom. The doors of heaven have opened for truly a remarkable person and gift to the world. Rest in peace Jack. We pray for the entire Briggs family during this time of bereavement. My heart goes out to the family. Dear Lord please comfort them may he rest in peace amen
Jack was a good friend and I always enjoyed my time with him. He greatly affected my life's work when he showed up to visit me at GoodMark Foods (Slim Jim) in 1993. This was the meeting that started the research into shelf stable sandwiches. This was a highlight in my career and I believe one of proud accomplishment for Jack. The family is in our prayers. Oh Marti, my good good lifelong friend. How can I tell you how much you and Jack have always meant to us. We see each other far too infrequently, but we always think of you especially when Boston is getting hit with weather. You remember how I couldn't stop crying at your wedding? Not because I didn't support the union - no - because it was a change in our lives. Today I feel the same way. Crying because it's a change to know that Jack isn't physically there but such as warm feeling to know he is with his Lord. We love you every minute and, yes, God IS good all the time (Jack is right). Will call soon, Buzzy & Bob Formwalt

So sorry for your loss. I did not know Jack well but was part of a bible study at Natick RDEC that he frequented. I did not know his name at first but I could see the Christ in him right away. He was a man that loved the Lord and loved people. I imagine he is basking in the love of Jesus our savior even now. May God's blessings and comfort be with you all. Cindy Blackwell
