Obituary:

Wayne's family and friends will be gathering on November 18, 2017, 11:30 am, for the committal, at the North Beverly Cemetery on Route 97.

Wayne A Thibodeau, 65, formerly of Beverly, passed away peacefully in the morning of Thursday, October 26, 2017. At the time of his transition, Wayne was experiencing Alzheimer’s. For the past few years, he enjoyed being lovingly taken care of at Eden Manor Assisted Living in Orlando, Florida. Born in Beverly, he was beloved son of the late George and Jean Thibodeau, and brother of the late Paul E. Thibodeau. Wayne was the father of the late Candace Anna-Jean Thibodeau and the late Kate Angelina Soundis (Thibodeau). Wayne graduated from Beverly High School and North Shore Community College. He was employed as a computer programmer analyst with Liberty Mutual. During this time, he and his growing family lived in New England. Wayne enjoyed working with numbers and spent some of his career providing for his family through the stock market as his own broker. At this time, they lived in the Orlando area. This gave the family many opportunities to have fun together at Disney World and other theme parks. Music played a major role in Wayne’s life. He loved playing the piano or organ and did that happily for family and friends. Later in life, Wayne and his longtime companion, the late Cindy Ryan of Ipswich, lived in Orlando. Together they enjoyed church, traveling and visiting theme parks, especially Epcot where they heard many talented musicians. Wayne is survived by his son George Soundis (Thibodeau), wife Vanessa and their children, Zackery and Isabella. He also leaves behind his daughters Amy Soundis (Thibodeau) of Lynn, Priscilla Tobey (Thibodeau) of Danvers. Wayne was previously married to Marianne Soundis of Peabody. He is also survived by a brother Greg Thibodeau and wife Carmen of North Carolina and sister Carrie Tobey and husband Ted of Danvers. Wayne's family and friends will be gathering on November 18, 2017, 11:30 am, for the committal, at the North Beverly Cemetery on Route 97.
