Obituary:  

Frances L. Murray, 102, of Byfield, MA, died on March 24, 2017 at Masconomet Health Care Ctr., Topsfield, MA. She was predeceased by her husband of fifty-five years, James J. Murray. Frances was born on Oct. 23, 1914, in Medford, MA, the daughter of Orrin and Lillian Jacobs. Frances lived most of her married life in Lynn, MA. She is survived by her daughter Barbara A. Hatch and her husband Richard of Greenwood, SC; daughter-in-law, Anna M. Murray of Fl., sister Phyllis Collins of Milford, four grandchildren, John R. Hatch and his wife Nicole of Byfield, Lisa A. Wiecki and her husband Stefan of SC, Joanne O’Connell and her husband David of Peabody, James M. Murray and Qiuhua Murray of Fl; six great-grandchildren, Christopher and Jessica Hatch of Byfield, Daniel and Andrew O’Connell of Peabody, Connor Murray of Fl, Sebastian Wiecki of SC. Also leaving many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her son James F. Murray, siblings; Doris Nestor, Constance Robbins and Peter Jacobs.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to visitation on Friday in the Mackey Funeral Home, 128 S. Main St., Rt. 114, Middleton, MA from 9:30am-11:30am. A service will follow at 11:30am in the Funeral Home. Interment at Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody, MA. In lieu of flowers donations in her name can be made to the Masconomet Health Care Ctr., Activities Dept., 123 High St., Topsfield, MA 01983.
