There are no words to express the loss felt when I got the news that Uncle Alden passed away. He was one of the most incredible men I have ever known. I have no idea how our family is going to learn more history about the Powell's, etc...! A man of many many stories. The love shared between Uncle Alden and Aunt Marie is impossible to describe. I have never known 2 people so devoted to one another as they were. I know that love will never cease. My Uncle Alden will be missed by many, oh so many. He will remain in my heart forever and I look forward to the day I can see him again. God Bless you Uncle Alden..... You will be missed. I love you, Jamie (your niece from Wisconsin)!
Oh Marie, I was so sorry to hear of Fred's passing. He was a man of wit and charm and had a wonderful love for you. In my heart he will always be our modern day Charlton Heston. I love listening to his stories at our Catholic Daughter dinners. Sending you thoughts and prayers for peace of heart.
