Born on August 23, 1925 he was the son of the late Anthony Derro and Theresa ( Ferrina) Derro. He was a loving Husband, Father and Grandfather and is survived by Brenda (Beauchamp) Derro, his loving wife of over 40 years and the late Marianne T. (Andrews) Derro.

He will be missed by his Daughters - Susan J. (Derro) Erbafina and Husband Charles Erbafina of Gloucester, MA, Valerie (Derro) Hickey of Hackensack, N.J., Karen Derro and Husband Robert Coffin of Lynn, MA.; and Stepdaughters, Karen Cagnina of Chelmsford, MA and Amy Mondello of Chandler, AZ., his sister Marguriute Derro McCabe and her late husband Jack McCabe; as well as many adoring Grandchildren.

Tom grew up in Winchester. MA and enlisted in the Navy where he served with pride in Scotland as a Master Chief Petty Officer.

Post-war he graduated from Wentworth College and went on to run a successful business, Derro construction Company, in Winchester, MA with his Father Anthony Derro.

He was a member of the Kiwanis club in Winchester Ma for many years and volunteered his time and business knowledge to his community.

Tom embraced life and had many passions in his life, but nothing compared to his passion for his family and collecting classic antique cars. Tom loved to buy, restore and show his antique classic cars and won many awards for “best in show."
