Dear Lanie, Ann, Andrea and the Bettencourt family. I just heard the news from my niece Dawn Rene. I am so very sorry for your loss. Though I never met him, I know I would have liked him. I probably saw you over the years briefly at the lake only when I visited Bob and Maureen at the Lake over the years. I mostly remember Lanie and Ann. I loved watching the amazing family life you had together! Please accept my heartfelt condolences. Junardi from Arizona.
Unfortunately, I never was blessed with meeting Jack; however, I am a friend of his sister-in-law, Sr. Mary Theresa, who expressed to me her loving regard for him. From what I have read in the messages above, I can tell that I would have cherished knowing him also. It is strange, but as I get older, I find myself always saddened when I know others are grieving, like you, Ann, your children, grandchildren, and others close to Jack. I pray with Sr. Mary Theresa for all of you, especially that even in your grieving, you will also know God's love for Jack and for all of you. With love, Sr. Angele Marie, also a Carmelite sister
