It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our dear Mother, Harriette Ann (Trask) Atherton, Wife of the late Lawrence (Barney) Atherton. Due to a brief illness, and surrounded by her Family on Monday, August 10th., 2015 at the Kaplan Hospice House, Danvers Massachusetts Born in Salem, Daughter of the late James Ernest Trask & Eleanor (Russell) Trask, she was raised in Beverly and attended St Mary’s School, Beverly MA. She was pre-deceased by siblings: William & Lyman Trask and Elinore Monahan also of Beverly, along with two half sisters, Elizabeth Pillsbury & Ruth Trask, Beverly, MA. Harriette enjoyed many years traveling with her husband in their RV. She had many dear friends in Florida and spent most of her day’s enjoying the Florida sunshine, pool and friends. Harriette leaves 4 Children, Cheryl & Thomas Carnevale, Sandra & William Gates, Steven & Amy (Robinson) Atherton, Daughter in law Linda (Young) Atherton. 8 Grandchildren Susan Marshall, T.J Carnevale, William Gates Jr, Kelly Constantino, Courtney Vuylsteke, Brian, Aaron & Ryan Atherton; and 12 Great Grandchildren Nicole, Amanda & Joseph Marshall Jr. Amy, Thomas Jr, Joseph & Emily Carnevale. Jimmy Jr Constantino. Taylor, Riley & Landon Vuylsteke. Nolan Atherton. She was also the Mother of the late Lawrence (Larry)Atherton Jr, & the Grandmother of the late Bobby Gates. She will be dearly missed by all her family and dear friends.

She was such a delightful woman.She always greeted me with a warm smile.I am so glad my son Keith got to meet her.She always seemed so happy around the 4th of July sitting by your pool watching all the kids.
