Mr. Bertram Fredrick Fowler Jr., 83, passed away on April 14th, 2015 at the St. Rosa Dominican Hospital in Las Vegas, Nevada surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Livermore, California, he was the son of Bertram Fowler and Martha Krauledat. Bertram was raised in West Portal, New Jersey and served four years in the Navy during the Korean War. After marrying Grace (Gass) Fowler of Nahant, Massachusetts he graduated from North Eastern University in Boston, Massachusetts with a degree in engineering. With Grace, Bertram raised his four children in Danvers, Massachusetts. As a young adult Bertram was an excellent horse back rider, and spent weekends hunting with his beagle. He later loved country western dancing with his wife. Bertram also enjoyed spending quality time with family and friends and often captured family gatherings with photography and videography. An avid Red Sox fan, he enjoyed watching games with his family.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years, Grace Fowler of Beverly, in addition to his four children Shirley Ristuccia and her husband Paul of Middleton, Victoria Tyrell of Middleton, Bruce Fowler and his wife Traci of Beverly and Lee Fowler of Beverly. Bertram will also be deeply missed by his eight grand children and four great grand children.
