Memorial Service Saturday at the Middleton Facility at noon. Visitation 1hr prior.
On the morning of Wednesday, December 31, 2014, Angie passed away peacefully of
natural causes. Angie was being visited and comforted by family members and
caregivers at her Danvers home at the time of her passing. Angie was 84 years old.
Angie was born in Gloucester, MA on July 10, 1930. She was the ninth child, and
eighth daughter, of Angie and Arthur Marshall. She was a 1949 graduate of
Scarborough High School in Maine and married her high school sweetheart Delbert
Pike in April 1951.
Angie loved being with her family. She could be seen at almost every football, baseball,
basketball, soccer, hockey, softball, track, volleyball and cheerleading event for all of
her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Angie was very close to her sisters
going on weekly lunch and department and grocery shopping trips. She was a big
bargain hunter and enjoyed hitting the local yard sale. Angie got hooked on Las Vegas
after traveling with Del on a couple of his business trips and would schedule annual
return trips with her sisters. Angie also enjoyed taking walks, reading books, doing
puzzles and crossword puzzles.
Angie was preceded in death by her siblings: Gertrude Harvey; Margaret Vieira;
Barbara Martin; Mildred Arruda; Arthur Marshall; Mary Saunders; and Jean Leavitt.
Angie is survived by her husband of 63 years; her sons: Delbert Pike Jr. of Old Orchard
Beach, ME; Thomas Pike and wife Teresa of Saco, ME; Stephen Pike of Middleton; and
